The operator, not the tool
quinn is an app-based, automated service for payroll and employment administration: in the app, you enter only what you already know — who's working, at what pay — and quinn carries out the entire administrative execution on your behalf.
The app is what makes the service automated; automation is what makes it affordable; and because quinn carries out the execution, the operational risk is no longer yours to carry. What classically takes expertise, time and a manual setup becomes a fraction of the effort and the cost.
quinn is not your employer. You always remain the legal employer: you hire, set the pay and terms of employment, and keep the right to direct the work. quinn acts under your power of attorney, on your behalf, and takes responsibility for the correct administrative execution of this work.
With software, you are the operator. With quinn, quinn is the operator.
Brands and markets
quinn is the shared brand for a service that today still runs under different names: in Switzerland quitt (households) and quitt Business (companies), in Germany quitt, in the United Kingdom quinn.
All three follow the same principle — the same service, the same automation, the same responsibility for execution, adapted to each market's authorities and institutions. In future, every offering in every market will run under the single brand quinn.
What you do and what quinn does
You supply facts and make employer decisions; quinn carries out the administrative work on your behalf. This division of labour is identical across all three markets — only the authorities and institutions behind it differ.

What quinn is not

Not payroll software: With software, the operational work stays with you; with quinn, quinn carries it out.
Not an Employer of Record (EOR): You always remain the legal employer. quinn takes over the administrative execution, not the employer role.
Not a staffing agency: quinn does not supply or recruit employees.
Not a fiduciary: quinn doesn't work manually by email and forms — it's app-based, automated, and acts under power of attorney.
Two offers: Home and Business
Home and Business follow the same quinn principle. Home is for private households employing domestic staff; Business is for companies employing people directly.
The mechanics are the same for both offers — you remain the employer, quinn takes over the administrative execution. A Business offer doesn't exist in every market today: in Germany, only the Home offer is currently available.
